California and Florida lead with the most early voting.
On Tuesday, the United States Election Project published data showing that 9.3 million early voting ballots have been cast thus far. Close to 7 million mail-in ballots make up a majority of the total, while 2.5 million have opted to cast their early votes in person.
The two states with the most early votes thus far are California and Florida, logging more than a million votes each. Georgia has shown record early-voting turnout this season, with just under one million of their residents already participating in midterm elections.
Republicans have historically been less likely to submit early votes, and this election cycle is no exception. In 17 states with party affiliations, 50% of the early ballots have been cast by Democrats, with only 30% being cast by Republicans.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For election officials at the state and local levels to ensure accurate ballot counts.
- For precinct workers and election observers as they seek to protect election integrity.
- For the Lord’s will to be accomplished throughout the nation in the midterm results.
